What is going on with the driving on Main Street? Not only are people parking on the wrong side of the street, I even witnessed a U-turn in the middle of the block. There are double solid lines. Don’t they mean anything?

Some time ago a secret government study revealed the Conservatives were closing some hospitals which included Castor, Coronation, Consort, Oyen and Hanna.

The conservative government seems determined to push Bill 50 through the legislature. In case you’re not familiar with bill 50, this piece of legislation ensures that the public pays for new power lines in Alberta (worth as much as 20 billion). The two companies that will most benefit from this are, Trans Canada Corp. and Alta Link.

I will certainly miss our Alberta Auditor General, the honourable Fred Dunn. I use the word “honourable” in its proper context and not as commonly used sarcasm referring to politicians.

In this post-modern age of awareness, equity, fairness and rights, it is refreshing to see legislation reflect the rights of children in divorce, and that of equal parenting.

No offence to Mr. Stoutenberg or Mr. Peeples but my mother and I agree with Betty King on the condition of the Lakeview Cemetery in Stettler.
