I want to express my deep appreciation for the regular columns by Will Verboeven and Ross Helgeton. They are both right on track and most helpful.

We received a letter from a Stettlerite, upset about our policy about persons parking in our lot when not actually shopping in the store.

The Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association (CPAA) is the bargaining agent and the voice for indoor postal workers in rural Canada.

We are writing to publicly acknowledge our appreciation of the level of childcare in this community. The Stettler Regional Child Care Society, specifically the Leaps and Bounds Program, has done wonders for our child.

I hope that Premier Ed Stelmach’s participation in the World Energy Future Summit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) will benefit Albertans.

I wanted to give an enormous “thank you” to everyone in the Stettler community for all your support and donations, for the Gods Eye Orphanage Home in Ghana, Africa (G.E.O.).

This fall my seven-year-old granddaughter and six-year-old grandson excitedly anticipated their first year of minor hockey.

There are many things about living in Stettler that I love, but the biggest advantage for me is having an off-leash dog park in town.

My dog and I have been enjoying the Stettler off-leash dog park for about a year now. It is an excellent facility where we can have a bit of exercise and meet new people with similar interests.
