At The Buffalo Lake Naturalists meeting in January, the new executive were elected. Mark Higgins is the president, Dianne Murphy vice-president, Andrew Paul secretary, Wilma Zurfluh treasurer. They have an exciting year planned .

There was a sense of hope and optimism at the recent meeting of the Bison Producers of Alberta meeting and for good reason: bison breeding stock and meat markets are back from depths not seen in known memory.

On Dec. 30, the Rumsey Rowley Beef Club had a full day of work and fun. Due to the cold weather earlier on in December our meeting and Christmas party was cancelled.

Our club has been busy the last couple of months. We held our annual weight day on Nov. 8 at Dollivers, with meeting and snacks to follow.
