The Stettler girls fastball hosted a tournament over the weekend in squirt, peewee, bantam and midget categories with local teams winning several medals.
The peewee 1 girls went home with gold medals after beating Calgary 13-7 in the final while squirt Smurfs won silver when they lost to Delburne in the final last Sunday, June 6.
The peewee 2 girls won an exciting game against Wetaskiwin 21-19 to claim the bronze in their division.
As for midget Shotguns, after losing 10-7 to Lacombe in the round robin game, the local girls beat the same team 15-7 in the final to claim the gold medal.
