Under-16 girls’ keeper Jillian Broemeling of Stettler has seven shutouts this season in Central Alberta Soccer League and tournament play.

The Stettler FC under-16 girls’ soccer team kept a couple of soccer streaks going in the past week.

With four victories in six days, Stettler has maintained its unbeaten season in regular-season and tournament play. The club is in first place in the Central Alberta Soccer Association.

Stettler keeper Jillian Broemeling added two more shutouts in the past week to give her seven clean sheets on the season.

Nikyta Lachowsky scored the lone goal Sunday as Stettler blanked host Ponoka 1-0.

At home Friday, Stettler shut out Lacombe 4-0 on two goals from Lachowsky and one each from Carly Armstrong and Kathryn Dolliver.

Lachowsky also scored twice in Stettler’s 4-1 win over Rocky Mountain House last Thursday at Lacombe. Kennedy Fisher and Sarah Imbery netted the other Stettler goals.

Stettler kicked off a productive week last Tuesday in Lacombe with a 3-1 victory over Rocky Mountain House.

Lindsey McKinnon, with two, and Grace Chapman scored the Stettler goals.
