On Saturday the Redcore Enterprises Storm headed across the border to challenge the Pierceland Panthers.
It took less than seven minutes for the Storm to strike, Kelsie Litke scored. Kierra Scollo scored twice more to round out the first period scoring. Putting Stettler up 3 at the end of one. In the second period Geri Slemp added to Stettler’s lead.
Pierceland finally got on the board early in the third. Harlee Avramenko got that one back on the power play.
At the final buzzer the score was Stettler 5 Pierceland 1.
