Stettler’s last event of the curling season ended Sunday, March 28 with two teams from Donalda claiming the top two spots. Bignell rink of Donalda beat Clint Kneeland rink from Stettler 7-6 in extra end to be declared the winner of the A event while Paul McKay’s team safely edged over Max Gunther rink with a score of 8-2. In the all Stettler final of the C event, Larry Mulgrive rink overcame Barry Rock rink 7-4 to claim the winner’s title.
