The Stettler Wildcats have wrapped up their spring training.

Practicing after school most days for the last two weeks of May, the Wildcats were able to work on some of the basic drills before taking part in a jamboree-style event on May 28 in Beaumont, Alta.

The spring jamboree was hosted by Beaumont Composite High School on their new turf field.

While no scores were kept in the “for fun” matches, according to Erin Sparks, one of the team managers, the Wildcats played a solid defensive game not allowing a single touchdown or field goal.

“The Wildcats made sure their team would be remembered,” Sparks said via email.

During the jamboree play, the Wildcats played against the St. Joseph Saints, Holy Trinity Trojans and the Beaumont Bandits.
