It was a close game for the Stettler Midget B Vortex Production Services Storm on Friday, Dec. 16, as the home team lost to Rimbey 9-7.

Rimbey was first to get on the board and had Stettler to a 3-0 deficit heading into the second period. Chase Dolliver scored soon into the second, putting Stettler on the board. Other Stettler goalmakers were Talon Conner with two goals, Kaelan Hayden, Rhett Shingoose, Bradley Dods and Dylan Woelk.

In other minor hockey news...

ATOMOn Saturday, Dec. 17, the Stettler Atom A Elks Storm headed to Blackfalds, where they won 8-1. The following day, Sunday Dec. 18, the team hosted Rocky Mountain House, winning 6-2.

The Stettler Atom B DYMY Oilfield Storm hosted Blackfalds on Saturday, winning 5-3. The next day saw the team tie Strathmore 4-4 here at home.

Saturday had the Stettler Atom C Kal Tire Storm hosting Carstairs, winning 7-5. However, the team was defeated the next day when they hosted Eckville, losing 6-2.

The Stettler Atom Guns'n'Games Female Storm hosted Okotoks White on Saturday, winning 4-3.

PEEWEEStettler Peewee A Dairy Queen Storm headed to Delburne on Saturday, Dec. 17 where they won 6-4 against their host. The next day, Sunday Dec. 18, headed to Red Deer, where they suffered a 10-5 defeat.

On Saturday, the Peewee B Stettler Kinsmen Storm headed to Carstairs, where they won 5-3 against RMAA.

The Stettler Peewee Heartland Auto Female Storm hosted Lacoka on Saturday. Results were not available by press time. The following day, the team welcomed the 3Cs into their rink, defeating them 10-2

BANTAMThe Bantam A Scotia Bank Storm hosted Hannah on Sunday, Dec. 18. The score was not available by press time.

The Stettler Bantam United Tank Inspections Female Storm played in Camrose on Saturday, Dec. 17, winning 2-1. The following day, the team hosted Leduc, crushing them 18-0.

MIDGETOn Saturday, Dec. 17, the Stettler Midget A Legion Storm hosted Olds, whom they crushed 15-1. The next day, Sunday, Dec. 18 saw the team play in Strathmore, where they lost 3-1.

In addition to their Friday game in Stettler, the Stettler Midget B Storm also had a Sunday game against Blackfalds here in Stettler. Stettler won 9-3.

The Midget OK Tire Female Storm headed to Byemoor on Saturday to take on the Endmoor team, but results were not available by press time.
