Stettler peewees step up to the plate

At home Monday night, Stettler defeated Sylvan Lake 9-6 in their Central Alberta Baseball League peewee playoff opener. Paul Georget and Tye Mulgrove each pitched three innings for Stettler and Alex Leblanc mopped up in the seventh. Mulgrove scored a couple of runs, and Leblanc, Georget, Jordan Burkard, Curtis Lang, Brenden Tucker, Talon Connor and Leo Arsenault each scored once. Other members of the Stettler team are Soren Jensen, Karlos Marshall, Sydney Poapst and Jaden Richards.

Stettler wraps up its season this Thursday night with a playoff game at Rocky Mountain House. The playoff champion is determined on won-lost records and runs for and against.
