Stettler Panthers, Cougars prepare for weekend action

Both teams will be taking to the field on Saturday

Despite the temperature turning cold, two of Stettler’s football teams are heating up for a showdown this weekend.

The Panthers and Cougars braved the cold on Tuesday to get some more practice in before their big games on Saturday. The Panthers will be heading to CMJHS Strathmore to face off against the Badgers while the Cougars will be staying home to take on the Lacombe Raiders.

The Cougars are the first to take the field with their game starting at noon. Kickoff for the Panthers’ game starts at 4 p.m.
