Stettler novice Storm bring home silver medals

Stettler novice Blue Storm travelled to Big Valley to participate in the team’s first tournament of the season on the weekend of Nov. 21 and 22.

Stettler novice Blue Storm travelled to Big Valley to participate in the team’s first tournament of the season on the weekend of Nov. 21 and 22.

In the first game Stettler played Alix and won 19-1 with Patrick Fisher being awarded the Heart &Hustle award.

The second game saw Stettler playing the host team with end result being another win, this time 15-4.

Andrew Wollis received the Heart and Hustle award after this game.

With very good passing and team work, the Stettler Storm qualified to play in the A finals on Sunday against Bowden. This game saw an incredible effort from the team as a whole with the lead changing hands several times. Eventually time ran out with Stettler losing to Bowden 6-5.
