Stettler FC U18 soccer team won the gold medal at the Red Deer Winter Games Boarded Soccer Tournament Jan 25-27 weekend. They won their first game against the Calgary Ranger Royals 4-3. In the second game against Red Deer Select they tied 2-2.
Next, they won the third game against Ponoka Storm 4-1 to finish first in the round robin, earning the team a spot to play Ponoka again for gold in the final. Stettler finished off the tournament with another solid game-winning gold with a 3-0 score. The coaches and parents are very proud of how hard the players worked this weekend.
