The Stettler Elks are bringing back the curling playdown for a 2022 edition.

Taking place between March 3 to 5 in Stettler, 18 teams from across the prairies will be taking part.

According to a media release issued by the Stettler Elks, teams will coming from as far away as Manitoba, though the bulk will be coming from central Alberta.

“A good level of competition is expected, and spectators are welcome,” said Neil Morrow, the exhalted ruler of the Stettler Elks.

Events held will be men’s, senior’s, and mixed/ladies.

The Elks, being a charitable organization, will not be offering cash prizes for winning teams, however there will be trophies, prizes donated from local merchants, and of course, bragging rights.
