On Friday, April 29, Stettler Novice Thunder hosted the Red Deer Chiefs 3 in a nail-bitingly close match that ended in a 10-4 loss for the home team.

Despite their loss, the team made the Chiefs work for every goal, running the ball to-and-fro over the rink.

The next day, the team headed to Didsbury to face the Chargers, where they lost in another close match. The game ended 4-3 for Didsbury.

The Peewee brethren also played on Friday, but results of the game were not available at press time. The team travelled to Didsbury on April 30, where they lost 10-1.

Also that day, the Bantam Thunder headed to Didsbury, where they lost a nail-biter of a game 8-5. They travelled to Red Deer the next day to play Sylvan Lake, but results were not available by press time.

On Thursday, the Midget Thunder hosted the Red Deer Chiefs 1 and tied 8-8. While the Chiefs hit the floor running, the Thunder's staying power made them able to catch up from behind and tie up the game before the final buzzer.
