Stettler girls Jamie Ternes (left), Jessie Anderson and Kennidy Fisher are among the 14 players named to the Zone 4 softball team for the Alberta Summer Games, set for July 27-29 in Lethbridge.
The girls made the grade after three tryout sessions, beginning with about 100 players in Stettler last fall and continuing with about 50 contenders in Sedgewick in April and 24 at the final camp in Lacombe in May
Zone 4 includes the Stettler, Coronation, Camrose, Wetaskiwin, Red Deer and Rocky Mountain House districts.
