The Stettler Novice Thunder were the only winners this weekend, after the team beat Blackfalds 5-2 on Saturday, May 7.
The Thunder teams played in Blackfalds on Saturday, with Midget tying 6-6, Bantam losing 4-2 and Peewee losing 8-5.
The next day, the Midget Thunder hosted Sylvan Lake, losing 10-4. Bantam hosted Innisfail, losing 9-0.
While the losing scores look rough, the game play was much closer, leaving parents and fans on the edge of their seats as the kids sprinted across the rink toward the opposing net.
