Over the weekend of February 27-28, Claire Hunter (13) and Erin Yaremcio (12) qualified to attend the 2010 Team Aquatic Supplies Alberta age group trials in Sherwood Park for swimmers who have obtained “B” qualifying times.

“Both girls had great success at this meet,” said Amanda Hugh, the Stettler Swim Club Coach.

Erin Yaremcio had new best times for 50 m. freestyle (34.09), 100 m. freestyle (1:14.68), 400 m. freestyle (5:43.23) and 50 m. butterfly (41.01).

On the weekend of March 5-7, the club sent Nicholas Baharally (13) and Colin McCann (10) to the 2010 Speedo Alberta age group championships in Edmonton.
