The Stettler Atom A headed to Lacombe on Friday, Jan. 22, where they lost 5-3. Cade Wilkie, Reid Shirley and Caleb Couch scored. The next day, Stettler hosted Lacombe at home, where they won 8-5. Wilkie scored twice, with solo goals by Couch, Cole Van Ringen, Colby Frank, Quin Hansel, Bret Hymers and Carter Zuk.
Stettler Atom B headed to Big Valley on Jan. 23, but no results were available. On Sunday, Jan. 24, the team hosted the Eckville Eagles, winning 14-3. Stefan Oprea scored four goals while Hayden Baker brought in three. The rest of the goals were brought in solo, with goals by Zachary Zimmer, Kaden Muhlbach, Brennan Konschuh, Shawn Webowesky, Colby Norman, Wyatt Streit, and Zach McCord.
On Sat., Jan 23, Atom C headed to Rockey where they lost 5-3. Broc Chick, Patrick Copeland and Ryan Robinson scored. The next day, the team headed to Sylvan Lake, where they lost 10-7. Brandon Enyedy scored four goals, and was augmented by two goals by Jace Richardson and a solo from Rylen Mohn.
Stettler's Atom Girls' team hosted the Sundre Huskies on Sunday, Jan. 24, losing a painful 20-1. Alyssa Shaw scored Stettler's lone goal.
In Peewee play, Stettler Peewee A hosted the Sundre Huskies, losing 7-5 on Saturday, Jan. 23. Two goals by Chance Morbeck were augmented by solo goals from William Praski, Justin Devloo and Robert Leslie. The team also played on Sunday, Jan. 24 against the Battle River knights, but results from that game were unavailable.
Peewee B travelled to Rockey on Saturday, Jan. 23, where they lost 8-4. Tyson Brower scored twice with Zach Forseth and Douglas MacPherson each scoring a goal. The team also played Sylvan Lake on Sunday, Jan. 24 but results from the game were unavailable.
In Bantam action, Stettler travelled to Rimeby on Saturday, Jan. 23, where they lost 7-2. Gavin McQuay and Austin Stahlberg scored. The following day, the team headed to Viking, where they won 6-3. Cole Heck and Ty Dowling each scored two goals, with the remainder coming from solos by Stahlberg and Noah Duff.
On Saturday, Jan. 23, Stettler Midget A headed to Strathmore, where they won 10-3. Ethan Rost scored four goals, and was supported by solo goals by Quade Cassidy, Drew Cassidy, Jeff Ternes, Brendan Bardwell, Tye Mulgrove, and Paul Du Toit.
The following day, the team hosted Cochrane, winning 5-0. Two goals by Quade Cassidy were augmented by goals by Erik Rost, Mulgrove and Bardwell.
Midget B Storm hosted the Battle River Knights on Saturday, Jan. 23, winning 6-3. Chase Dolliver, Scott Verhoeven, Brayden Smith, Ryan Mielke each scored solos, and Riley Cornelssen brought in two goals. The following day, Stettler lost to Lcombe 6-2 in Lacombe, with Verhoeven and Daniel Schwarzenberger scoring Stettler's two goals.
In girls' action...
Stettler hosted Leduc on Saturday, Jan. 24, losing 4-3. Stettler's goals were by Gabby Heck, Sidney Kobi and Julie Ponto. The next day, the girls tied Lacoka 1-1 in Lacombe, with a goal by Heck.
The Stettler Bantam girls played Whitecourt on Jan. 24, but results were not available.
The Midget girls defeated West Central 3-0 on Friday, Jan. 22 in Stettler, thanks to goals by Halley Adams, Jamie-Lee Spady, and Kierra Scollo.
