Stettler's U14 girls ended up losing their home game 2-1 to the visiting Camrose on Wednesday, May 27, but while the score didn't show a win, the game was not a total disappointment for coach Kennedy Fisher.
"It was an unfortunate loss because the girls worked very hard. Especially in the last couple of minutes we had a lot of chances and really pressed but just couldn't make it happen," Fisher said.
"But the girls have improved so much and it's games like these that really exemplify that," she added. "Both myself and the other coaches are extremely proud of them and how much they've developed throughout the season."
