MacDonald of Erskine fastest in barrel series

Kept Wives Barrel Series hosted its final jackpot on March 14 as Traci MacDonald of Erskine clocked in the fastest time of 13.222 seconds.

The Kept Wives Barrel Series hosted its final jackpot on Monday, March 14 as Traci MacDonald of Erskine clocked in the fastest time of 13.222 seconds setting the pace.

Marci Laye of Bashaw came in second with 13.437 seconds, while in third place of the first division or D1 was Crystal Shaw of Daysland with 13.630 seconds.

The second division (D2) winner was Chris Ross of Botha with 13.951 seconds, Erica Lee of Delburne finished second clocking in a time of 14.087 seconds and in third place was Brittany Strandquist of Stettler with 14.177 seconds.

In first place of third division (D3) was Melissa Davies of Coronation with a time of 14.681 seconds, followed by Taylor Graham of Caroline clocking in a time of 14.817 seconds and in third place was Crystal Shaw of Daysland with a time of 14.876 seconds.

Melissa Thiessen who had organized this jackpot will also be organizing the second annual Frozen Futurity and Derby on Wednesday evening, March 23 as well as a charity pony race for Make A Wish Foundation at the Stettler Agriplex, running all day.
