Local cowboy wins Bull-a-rama

At the end of an action-packed night of excitement, local cowboy Miles Pennington was crowned the winner of WPB Bull-a-rama at the Stettler Ag Grounds on Saturday, Nov. 28. Pennington was one of only three cowboys who could get points in the short-go.

At the end of an action-packed night of excitement, local cowboy Miles Pennington was crowned the winner of WPB Bull-a-rama at the Stettler Ag Grounds on Saturday, Nov. 28.

Pennington was one of only three cowboys who could get points in the short-go.

More than two dozen cowboys, some coming from as far away as Texas, competed in the long-go session with eight of them making to the next round.

They included Len Lefbvre of St. Albert, Beau Brooks of Nanton, Jordan Aruthnott of Strathmore, Cody Stamp of Delburne, Cody Antoine of Cache Creek, B.C, Brad Walker of Joffre alongside Pennington.

In the short go only Beau Brooks, Ren Lefbvre and Pennington could stay longer than eight seconds on the bulls.

Pennington was declared the winner with 84 points.
