A new website has opened its servers to millions of local businesses around the world, and they include those in Stettlerr.
“ Last week we made www.brownbook.net TOTALLY free for all businesses everywhere in the World and that includes Stettler” said a statement e-mailed to the Independent by John Wood, the entrepreneur behind the move.
Wood says his Brownbook website already lists over 27 million businesses worldwide.
“We have just eliminated all paid services from the website, making it totally free for businesses to claim and enhance their business profiles, including adding photos, videos, logos, coupons, offers and widgets,” said the statement.
Wood says the service is a no-strings-attached, zero-cost opportunity for businesses who would like promote their profile on the world wide web.
“That means any business in Stettler can now get a rich multimedia business profile page that’s highly optimized for search engines to help them get found more online,” he said.
