Beginning around 1 p.m., the long-go of the barrel racing will take place, setting the stage for the short-go, which is to take place after the saddle bronc action.
Also taking place at the Agriplex on June 8, a children's bicycle safety rodeo sponsored by the Stettler Family Resource Network will get underway around 2:30 p.m.
According to one of the event organizers, Clint Sater, the other usual activities on the grounds, such as the military display and the tractor-pull demonstration, won't be happening this year, but the food trucks will be hand beginning with the long-go and remain on the grounds through most of the day.
