Victory in Jesus has always been available to humanity.

When sin entered the Garden of Eden, the conflict between good and evil became a sad reality. We always need to remember this because the enemy wants to destroy God’s children.

However, before Satan usurped the dominion over this planet, there was already a victorious plan that would be fulfilled in Jesus, “… the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Rev. 13:8, NKJV).

Jesus himself said: “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).

He conquered, and He restores our life.

He conquered, and He forgives our faults.

He conquered, and He saves us from the power of sin.

He conquered, and He teaches us to love our neighbour as ourselves.

He conquered, and He makes us merciful and supportive.

He conquered, and He purifies our hearts.

He conquered, and He takes away selfishness from us.

He conquered, and He makes us faithful to His Word.

He conquered, and He gives us security and confidence.

He conquered, and He fills us with the certainty of a better world.

As a prolific author wrote, “All the energies of life, body, and mind must be engaged in the Christian warfare. We must look to Christ for strength and grace, and then we shall gain victory as surely as Jesus died for us. (…) Is it too much to give ourselves to Him, who sacrificed everything for us? (…) To the one who overcomes, I will give the right to sit down with Me on My throne, just as I also won and sat down with My Father on His throne.’”

In this world we will still suffer, but we have Jesus.

Jesus overcame for us, and He gives us strength on a daily basis so we too can overcome. Nothing can separate us from Him, and by His strength, grace, and mercy, we can overcome everyday (Rom. 8:37-39).

If we fall, we will rise by His powerful hand. Very soon we will open our arms with shouts of victory when we see our beloved Saviour returning in glory as King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev. 19:16). Praise the Lord!

Given the incredible promises of such a blessed hope, how will you respond to Him who gave His life for you? He is interceding on your behalf in heaven right now.

You wouldn’t exchange God’s promises for the temporary things this earth provides, would you? Christ is calling.

He is calling your heart. Study the Bible, pray, walk with God, learn more about prophecy and let God transform your life. He is here with you. He embraces you in His love.

Let Christ be the Lord and Saviour of your life until He returns and makes you victorious forever.
