Olive was a gentle soul who saw the good in everything. She will be remembered and missed by many, many friends and work associates within the community of Stettler. She was a well respected woman within the community where she ran and operated the H&R Block office for many years. She had a reputation for being hard working, organized, reliable and honest. Simply stated, her work ethic was, “If you can’t do something right the first time, don’t do it at all.” She lived by those words and passed them along to her children.
A memorial service was held for Olive at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Stettler, Alberta on December 29, 2011. Olive will be sadly missed but not forgotten by the many lives she touched. Condolences may be sent to www.stettlerfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
