As a youth, Wilma loved playing ball and, as an adult, she was an avid square dancer and curler. For several years, Wilma was a National Director for the Canadian Calorie Counters Association. She was an active member of the Omega Circle and served as the Secretary-Treasurer for many years. She was also active in the Gadsby UCW. In her later years, she enjoyed bowling, floor curling, knitting and reading. She loved playing bingo and won more than her share of the proceeds. Her enjoyment of her grandchildren and great grandchildren was constantly evident in the stories she loved to tell about them. Wilma's life was not only long-lived but well-lived, marked with enthusiasm for family and community involvement. Wilma is survived by her children Harvey (Barbara) Glasier of Dawson Creek, Kay (Doug) Hankinson of Wandering River and Wayne (Margery) Glasier of Gadsby.
