KEITH - Mr. William (Bill) David formerly of Big Valley, AB, more recently of Millet, AB, passed away in Red Deer, AB on Oct. 15, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Bill was born and grew up in Biggar, SK. He attended a country school in the Biggar area, following this he made a life long career as a finishing grader operator and as a driller in the oil patch. Bill and his family lived in many different areas of Saskatchewan and Alberta due to his occupation, and as a result he had the opportunity to meet and make many friends. Bill was a kind man who loved his family and in his quiet time enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially baseball and football. Bill will be remembered for his kindness by all who knew him. Bill is survived by his loving wife Theresa Hanson of Millet, daughters Helen (Jack) Lewis of Sarnia, ON, Deena Elder (Julian Bencharsky) of Edmonton, AB, Linda Williamson (Vic Sandberg) of Blackfalds, AB, Bonnie Keith (Rick Blanchette) of Abbotsford, B.C. and son Malcolm (Shannon) Keith of Edmonton; grandchildren David (Tina) Lewis, Jacqueline (Joe) LaPointe, Rick Elder, Shelly (Dwayne) Urban, Jody Keith, Jy Keith, Josh Crump, and Jason (Jacquie) Keith; great-grandchildren Austin, Bailey, Evan, Jack, Ainsley, Owen, Lucas, Davyn and Tegan. He is also survived by his sister Christina (Jack) Williams, brothers Thomas (Margaret) Keith and Ed (Patricia) Keith and sister-in-law Marie Keith, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Keith in 1973, his mother Mary Keith in 1983, wife Bertha Keith in 1993, brother Jim Keith in 1994 and son-in-law Jake Elder in 1996. A funeral service for the late Bill Keith was held at the Brennen Funeral Home Chapel in Stettler on Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. with a reception following in the Brennen Funeral Home reception area. Interment followed in the Big Valley Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation in care of Brennen Funeral Home (2001) Ltd., P.O.
