Wilbert Blaine Russell

Blaine farmed in Manitoba and custom harvested in USA before moving to Calgary in 1979. Here he worked in Construction.
Blaine met Edna in 1981. They started their new life together which lasted over 40 years.
Blaine's dream was to farm again. Blaine and Edna bought their farm at Halkirk, AB in 1990. They farmed together for 31 years. Blaine's comment "The Best Years Of My Life."
Blaine is survived by the love of his life Edna Luft; children: Dean, Carolyn (Hughie) and Kevin; grandchildren: Kyle, Chase, Ivey and Cole; brothers Ronnie (Joan) and Gordie (Jacquie); sisters Janet and Bonnie (Dennis); sister-in-law Kathy; Edna's Family: Ross (Leona), Scotty (Maggie), Amy and Pat; as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends.
Blaine was predeceased by parents Alice and Webb Russell; sisters: Faye, Ruth (Alex) and Gwen; brothers Garry, Jim and Dale (Peggy) and brother-in-law Al Braun.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Omega Cemetery, Gadsby, Alberta on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.
