NYULI

On July 26, 2010, Thomas Alexander Nyuli of Stettler passed away at the age of 64 years. Tom is survived by his loving wife Kathy; daughter Shannon (Scott) Whitlow and their children Madeleine, Rachel, and Nathan; son Jeremy (Andrea) Nyuli and their daughter Ella; daughter Heather (Justin) Meston and their children Braidy and Chet; brothers Walter (Lorraine) Nyuli, Butch Nyuli and Greg (Betty-Ann) Nyuli; sisters Shirley (Gordon) Harkness, Eileen Nyuli, Pat (Russ) McIntyre, Mickey (Jim) Miller, and Glenyss Nyuli; Kathy's brothers Don (Susie) Cavanagh and Kevin (Sarah) Cavanagh, and sister Joan (Rob) Prentice; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom was predeceased by his parents Bill and Isabella Nyuli, his brother Gerry Nyuli and his parents-in-law Bob and Anne Cavanagh. Tom was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed the game of golf and was happiest sitting on the deck at their place on the golf course at Northern Meadows. A die-hard Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Oilers fan, we will miss his colorful comments to the refs when he disagreed with a call. He was always the life of the party, with plenty of jokes and stories to go around. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Christ King Catholic Church in Stettler, Alberta with Father Arlan Parenteau officiating. In memory of Tom Nyuli memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Stettler Health Services Foundation or a charity of your choice c/o Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium, Box 1780, Stettler, Alberta T0C 2L0, 1-877-844-3422.
