STEVEN CHARLES THOMAS

Steve passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on March 8, 2012 at the age of 52. Steve Thomas was born on September 30, 1959 in Guelph Ontario, the only son of Lee and Darlene Thomas. He lived through out SK, AB, and BC. The things that will stand out in the memories of all his family are his love of fishing (always catching them when nobody could), woodworking, and his award winning Mac & Cheese. Steve had a life long love of dogs, but had a special place in his heart for an amazing dog named Boots.
He is survived by his daughter Kristin (Mark) Stahlberg (Stettler); son Andy Thomas (Lethbridge); grandchildren Austin and Baylee Stahlberg (Stettler); his parents Lee and Darlene Thomas (Scotch Creek, BC); sisters Cheryl Thomas (Victoria, BC) and Cindy Jarmolicz (Stettler); nieces and nephews Ian (Laura) Blaney, Megan (Rob) Blaney (Calgary), Justin Jarmolicz, Jason (Melissa) Jarmolicz (Red Deer); as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
A service will be held on Thursday April 5, 2012 at the Stettler Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy and in memory of Steve, memorial contributions may be made to S.T.A.R.S or the Heart And Stroke Foundation.
