Ruth was born is Stettler, Alberta to parents Grace and Kurt Rueffler on June 8, 1944, they farmed and grew up northwest of Erskine. After graduating from Wm. E Hay High Composite High School, Ruth found a job working at the Royal Bank in Big Valley.
Ruth was always busy doing something, she seemed to have endless amounts of energy. She was the one that kept friends, family and relatives connected, she was the glue that kept everyone together and in touch with relatives far and near.
Ruth was always happy to see you. Ruth volunteered her time to many organizations and was recognized for her volunteerism numerous times.
Ruth always loved her flowers.
Ruth is survived by sons Dennis (Laurie) Kromm and Wayne Kromm; grandsons Kirk Kromm and Garnett Kromm; as well as numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband Gerald Kromm; parents Kurt and Grace Rueffler and brother Allen Rueffler.
Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 1 pm at the Erskine Cemetery, Erskine, Alberta with Pastor Jonathan Aicken officiating.
