Born on June 17, 1944 and passed away on February 28, 2021 the family of Roy Paul Klaus is very saddened to announce his passing even though relieved he is finally no longer in pain.
Roy Klaus is survived by his four children: Kimberley (Chris) Thorne, Nickolas Klaus; Pamela Klaus (Steve Kalinoka), Benjamin Klaus; his chosen son, Chad (Alana) Buckingham; grandchildren: Annabelle, Klarissa, Blake, Wyatt, Logan and Julian; siblings Evelyn Shursen, Letty (John) Wyzykowski, George (Rita) Klaus; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of many friends.
Roy loved to sing and entertain. He had claims to local fame: Gilbert & Sullivan Productions, Treblemaker Band and the United Church Choir.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions on the community's funeral services will be held at a later date and updates to the exact time and day will appear on the website.
Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in Roy's memory to Heritage House, The Alberta Diabetes Foundation or the the Alberta Heart and Stroke Fund.
