Ronald Victor Mitchell of Stony Plain, former resident of Stettler and Brownfield AB, passed away July 5 at U of A hospital in Edmonton surrounded by his children, following a fatal car collision in Grande Prairie. Ron leaves to mourn three children Mikel (Cathy), Ian, and Glen (Sherry), twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren as well as stepchildren from his second marriage, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Arleita and second wife Ann, daughter Bonnie, parents Lela and William, his brothers Maurice and Ray, sister Irma, and grandson Weston. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 9 at 1:00pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Spruce Grove, AB. Interment will take place at a later date in Castor, AB. Memorial donations can be made in Rons' name to the The Good Samaritan Society Stony Plain Care Centre at 5600 - 50 Street, Stony Plain, AB T7Z 1P8.
