CAMPBELL

Robin Bruce Campbell passed away July 19, 2009 in Stettler, Alberta. He was born August 8, 1964 in Lacombe, Alberta. By the time he was 16 his love of the oilrigs was apparent. He spent the next few years working in the industry until an accident forced him to give it up; but he always wanted to go back. After attending Devry, he began working at Heartland Stationers until 2008. Other than the rigs, Robin loved games, especially Risk, Oilman and Poker, many times playing until the early morning. The last few years he began to enjoy golf and spent as much time as he could on the course. Robin will be missed by his brother Warren Campbell of Red Deer; sisters Tammy (Trevor) Gerlach of Blackfalds and Cynthia Campbell of Lacombe; as well as his nieces and nephews: Verity-Jean, Patrick and Courtney Gerlach and Kassidee Campbell; numerous other family and friends. Robin was predeceased by his mother Jean Campbell, two uncles and three cousins. Funeral services were held at the Byemoor Community Hall, Byemoor, Alberta on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Cynthia Campbell gave a loving tribute of her special memories of her brother to all those there. Family and friends gathered for a time of sharing and a light luncheon prepared by the Byemoor Community Ladies. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice c/o Stettler Funeral Home, Box 1780, Stettler, AB, T0C 2L0.
