May 3, 1970 – August 8, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Randy. He is sorely missed by his parents, Aime and Bonnie Pigeon, wife, Cristina Pigeon, daughters Kaitlyn and Cora, sisters, Gay Ray and Star (Patrick) Caldwell, nieces and nephews, Miranda (Jonathan) Snook, Jordan Ray, Liam, Brant and Victoria Caldwell, great nephew, Jared Snook as well as numerous other family and friends. Randy grew up in Stettler, attending Waverly Elementary/Jr. High and William E. Hay Composite High School which he graduated from in 1988. As a young boy, Randy enjoyed many sports, both in the community and at school. After High School, he went on to Red Deer College where he was enrolled in the Psychology program until he started working with Saladmaster. Randy’s vibrant personality brought him great success with this company for 22 years. During those years he was able to travel the world to such places as Ireland, Paris, the Caribbean and Russia. One special memory he often shared was having a drink and singing karaoke with Sergei Fedorov while in Russia. After leaving Saladmaster, Randy joined the team at Inlight Wellness Systems as their VP of Marketing. Randy was an avid Cubs fan and would attend every game he could. Above all, though, Randy loved to spend time with his family. Especially his beautiful daughters and his loving wife Cristina, who gave him so much joy and happiness.
Our world is better because he was in it.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on October 1, 2016 at the Red Willow Community Hall, 2:00pm.
