Feb 9, 1994 - Mar 17, 2018
Rachel Lynn Weibel, 24, of Stettler, Alberta walked into the loving arms of Jesus on the afternoon of March 17, 2018 where she is now reunited with her younger brother Joey.

Rachel was born February 9, 1994, the daughter of Ray and Miriam (VandenBrink) Weibel. She attended schools in Donalda and Stettler, Alberta and graduated from Wm. E. Hay High School in 2012.

Those who knew Rachel, knew that she had a generosity of spirit that was second only to the love she held for her son Isaac. Within Rachel there was much love mingled with grief in the depths of her heart...yet her laughter, incredible sense of humor and deep caring spirit touched each of us personally in ways we can never forget.

Rachie, your life was a rare and beautiful gift. You gave away your smiles like flowers, leaving a little sparkle wherever you went. We know your life was far from easy and your pain took you to places you would rather not go. As our tears fall over our broken hearts, we take solace in knowing your hurt has been washed away and your heart has been set free.

Rachel was dearly cherished by her large and loving family: she was the loving mother to her son Isaac Weibel (his father Tyler Seyer); mom and dad Ray and Miriam of Stettler; brothers Michael (Hara) Pinette and nephews Nahum, Ezra, Josiah and Caleb of Red Deer, Brett VandenBrink (Lindsay) of Rocky Mountain House; grandmothers Lucy Ingram of Red Deer and Ethel VandenBrink of Red Deer; aunts and uncles: Susan (Doug) Turnbull, Tony VandenBrink, Jim VandenBrink, Cheryl Lee VandenBrink, Donna Weibel, Dick (Colleen) Weibel, Linda Warnock, Judy (Art) Quiding, Val (David) Kinvig, Joanne (Dale) Kinvig, Pam (Terry) Herbert, Jim Weibel, Barb Weibel, Shelley (Pete) Haywood, Laurie (Geoff) Nelson, Dean (Sharon) Weibel, Teena (Glen) Kuhn, over 100 cousins, extended family and many dear friends.

Predeceased by her younger brother Joey Weibel, her grandparents Joseph and Isabel Weibel, Max VandenBrink, uncle Paul Weibel, aunt Penny Weibel and cousin Tracy Quiding.

Funeral services were held for Rachel on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, with interment service at Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, funeral services were held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Stettler Funeral Home.
