Patrick Scott McElroy

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Patrick Scott McElroy on May 14, 2022, at the age of 36 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Heather McElroy, brother, Christopher McElroy (Sobha Changarathil), nephew, Ravi McElroy, and niece, Priya McElroy. Patrick will also be missed by members of his extended family and many steadfast friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Rodney McElroy.
Patrick was born on December 4, 1985, to Rodney and Heather McElroy in the town of Stettler. He was an accomplished gymnast, avid reader, talented guitar player, lover of country and blues music, hiking and video game enthusiast, and devoted doggy dad to Toto.
Family and friends will always remember his loyalty, generosity, contagious laughter, and unyielding kindness. He was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones, with his dog on his lap, playing cards, and having conversations that ranged from metaphysics to the mountains, the latter of which he loved to explore every opportunity he could.
A celebration of Patrick's life will take place on Sunday May 29, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Cattail Crossing Golf & Winter Club, 24427 Township Rd 542, Sturgeon County, AB T8T 1L4
