WILLIAMS, Patricia Winifred (Damberger)
May 17th, 1927 - September 28th, 2009
On Monday, September 28th, Patricia (Damberger) Williams passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Camrose. Pat was born and raised in the Donalda area. She attended Up-To-Date School and resided on the Damberger family farm until she married Fred Williams in 1946. After a short stint in Grassy Lake, Pat and Fred lived on the Williams farm near Boss Hill. In 1956, they sold the farm and relocated in Bashaw where they resided for the rest of their lives. Fred passed away in 2003, and Pat remained in the family home until 2008 when she moved to Bashaw Valley Lodge. While at the Lodge, Pat reunited with many friends and she enjoyed the fellowship and activities there. Up until the past week, she was healthy and up until her passing she maintained her great sense of humor and dedication to her family. Pat was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, her daughter, Lynda (Parent) and grandson, Barry (Parent). She will be lovingly remembered by her family: Granddaughter, Kathy (Parent) Hall and Sam, Darsi, Kaitlyn Hall, Debra and Bill Spiller: Scott, Kari, Kayl and Ryder Spiller, Kirsten, Russell, Logan and Emmy Nugent, Larry and Renee Williams: Tony, Sarah, Jeffrey, Kevin and Kerry Williams: Zach, Brennan, Michayla, sisters-in-law: Ina Damberger, Helen Damberger, Brother-in-law: Roy Langille; Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of good friends. Pat was a remarkable mother and soul mate to her husband, her children and grandchildren. She will be cherished for her tolerance, understanding, patience and above all her welcoming kindness to all who were fortunate to have known her. A celebration of Pat's life was held on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 in the United Church in Bashaw. Interment followed at the Donalda Cemetery. Donations can be made in honor of Pat's life to the Stollery Children's Hospital or the Donalda Cemetery.
