Neil O'Shea

Neil Brodie O'Shea was born May 23, 1938 in Stettler, Alberta. He passed away on May 8, 2022in Calgary, Alberta. Neil will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Mary of Trochu; daughter Tammy (Mike) Boutin & their children Patric and Lucas of Sherwood Park; son Robert (Shannon) and their daughter Chelsea of Surrey B.C.; son Scott (Brittany) and their children Jackson, Ethan and Isabelle of Edmonton. He is survived by brother Russell of Edmonton, as well as many other family members.
He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Grace; siblings Roger, Mae Aumais, Ross, Tom and an unnamed sister. Neil loved gardening and enjoyed starting and growing tomatoe plants in the spring for others. He always loved a good game of cards or a visit with friends and family from near and far.
Neil was a hard working manwho loved and would do anything for his family. He will be forever missed. Many thanks to all the doctors, nurses and ambulance personnel from the Three Hills Hospital, STARS Air Ambulance and the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary for their excellent care of Neil.
A Come and Go Celebration of Neil's Life will be held on Friday June 3, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Trochu Baptist Fellowship Hall in Trochu, Alberta. Donations in memory of Neil may be made to STARS, Peter Lougheed Hospital ICU or Charity of Choice.
