Nadia passed away in Stettler, Alberta, at Points West Living on May 19/2025, at the age of 80.
Nadia will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children: Lori Ramsdale of Calgary Alberta, Annette (David) Ramsdale of Sicamous BC, Michael Papp of Salmon Arm BC and Daniel Papp of Calgary Alberta; grandchildren: Steven Ramsdale of Calgary Alberta, and Erin, Scott and Stephanie Ramsdale of Sicamous BC; sisters Mary Leblanc and Nena Rowet; sister-in-law Sandra Washkevich; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Nadia is predeceased by her parents Konon and Elizabeth and brothers Mike and Peter Washkevich.
Nadia grew up on the family farm outside of Rimbey, Alberta, and often reminisced about the times she spent there with her parents and siblings. She would tell stories to her children of her life on the farm, and all the good times she had there. Nadia worked many jobs in her life, from hairdresser to secretary, and ended her working career at the Edmonton Realty Board where she made many friends.
Honoring Nadia's Wishes No Formal Memorial Service Will Not Be Held.
