HORVATH
Mr. Ted Horvath, a resident of Stettler, Alberta passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the age of 76 years.
Ted is survived by his loving wife Dianne; Ted's children: John Horvath (Vivian Haynes) of Nanton, AB, Steven (Kerrie) Horvath of Sherwood Park, AB, Tony Horvath (Jackie Parsons) of Okotoks, AB, Teddy (Laura) Horvath of Medicine Hat, AB, Michelle Driscoll (Billy Ponton) of Medicine Hat, AB; Dianne's children Robert Corbin of Red Deer, AB, Tammy (Alfred) Curd of Westlock, AB; as well as numerous other family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life was held in the Heartland Chapel of the Stettler Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 21st, 2013 at 4:00 PM. with Reverend Ross Helgeton officiating. The service opened with a candle lighting ceremony by the family. Ted's son John wrote a loving tribute in memory of his father and read by Rev. Helgeton. Special favorite recorded music was played. Honorary pallbearers were John Horvath, Steven Horvath, Tony Horvath, Teddy Horvath, Darren McMullen and all of Ted's family and friends.
Following the service family and friends gathered in the Heartland fellowship hall for a time of refreshments prepared by the staff of Walmart.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Ted's memory to the Alberta Lung Association, the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Stettler Funeral Home Box 1780 Stettler, AB T0C 2L0.
