In Loving Memory ~ On Monday, March 1, 2021, Mickey, as she was known by her friends, passed away peacefully at the Stettler hospital at the age of 95 years.
Mickey was born in Stettler on February 11th, 1926. She was the youngest daughter of Alexander (Sandy) and Janet Campbell. She grew up on the family farm at Endiang, Alberta and attended Leith Hill School. She married Gordon Allan Pearn on June 4th, 1947 and they had three children: Perry, Robert and Sandra.
Words cannot adequately express how much she meant to our family and she will be missed by so many people.
She is predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Gordon; parents Sandy and Janet Campbell; brother Dougald Campbell; sister Agnes (Andrew) Sorensen; special Uncle Bob and cousin Andy Kiddie.
She leaves to mourn her children: Perry Pearn, Robert Pearn and Sandra (Darrell) Todd; six grandchildren: Alexis (Kurtis) Pillipow, Lacey Pearn (Bart Kaznowski), Bryce (Sondra) Pearn, Janelle Pearn (Josh Anderson), Daine (Jaclyn) Todd, Brody Todd; six great grandchildren: Emma, Ford, Campbell, Colter, Emerson and Remi; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends who are too numerous to name.
The family would like to thank Dr. du Toit and the Stettler Hospital staff for the care and compassion Mickey received while there.
A private family gathering will be held at the Stettler United Church at a later date.
