August 8, 1928 - September 13, 2018
On September 13, 2018, Millie Handyside passed away peacefully at Heritage House in Stettler, after battling lung cancer.

Millie was predeceased by her loving husband Dale in 2014.

She will be greatly missed and remembered by her family: daughter Linda Martin (Leonard Klein) and families: Heather (Scott) Resch, Madeline, Marissa and Joel, Kelly Martin (Cameron McManus, Cassandra and Everett); son Doug (Brenda) Handyside and family Jonathan Handyside and Krista Handyside; brothers Henry (Laura) Schiffner and Fred (Frances) Schiffner; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A celebration of life was held Friday, September 21, 2018 in the Heartland Chapel of Stettler Funeral Home.

The family is so grateful to Dr. Lockhat and the staff at Heritage House for their kindness and incredible care. The family would also like to thank everyone for the kindness shown to Millie and her family with words of encouragement, visits, gifts of food and all the hugs. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
