It is with great sadness that Mike's family advises that he passed after a short, difficult battle with cancer.
Mike is survived by his father, Brian (Mum, Lorraine), mother, Marla, sister, Stephanie(Dana) and family, brother, Jay and family, sister, Arlene, fiancé, Alicia, uncle Doug (Lynne) and family, uncle Keith (Jeanne) and family, aunt Wendy (Angelo) and family, and many good friends.
Mike will be remembered for his love of golf, sailing, wrestle mania and #87 Sid Crosby. He will be well taken care of by his grandparents, Ken, Norrie, Dick, and Leola.
Thank you to the staff of the Peter Lougheed Centre, Foothills Medical Centre, special services in Calgary. Special thanks to Dr. T. Dusang and the palliative care team at the Grey Nuns for the excellent compassionate care during the storm.
Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held. Donations in Mike's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, STARS, or charity of choice.
