With sadness we must record the passing of Mary Jean Benson at the Stettler Hospital and Care Center on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the age of 73 years. Jean grew up in Hythe, Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Katherine Benson, one sister Shirley and her grandparents. She is survived by her sister Rita Lee (Kelly), her brother Maury Benson (Donna) and nieces and nephews Tamara, Shanta, Jim and Bob. A Memorial Tea to honor Jean's life was held at the Big Valley Drop In Center on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. in care of Brennen Funeral Home and Cremation Services P.O.
