It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mom, grandmother, and sister, Marjorie Strome (nee Bowen) on April 15 at the age of 81 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 57 years, Wesley; her loving children, Gloria (Ron) Vollmin, Stan (Gail) Strome, Dolores (Jim) Bates, Gary Strome, Peggy (Jim) Wright, Sharyn Melo, Vera (John) Lucas, Mervin (Delphine) Strome; seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered by Catherine Siebold, Myfy Bowen, Stan (Alma) Bowen, Dilys (Billy) Schaffner, Violet (Grant) Baird, Helen Bowen, Yvette Bowen, Hazel Annett, Elsina Strome, Dora Morasch, Vi (Harold) Collins, Susan (Jim) Bedson, Ernie Strome (Earleen Greene), Danny (Elda) Strome, Beatrice (Victor) Tschritter, Ruby (Dave) Lopetinski, Joyce Strome, and numerous other family members. Marj was a breath of fresh air and we will miss her beautiful smile, sense of humour, kindness and compassion. A celebration of Marj's life was held on Monday, April 19, 2010 at CrossRoads Church in Red Deer.
