Margaret Forsyth was the youngest of nine children, born in Erskine and raised at the family farm at Erskine Lake.

Margaret went to school in Erskine where she loved to play baseball and basketball.

After school Margaret moved to Red Deer and worked at the train station. It was there that she met her future husband Charlie. They were married March 13, 1943.

In 1946 they had a son they named Cameron. In 1947 they bought some land SW of Erskine and made it their home. Then on October 10, 1952 Linda came along and completed their family. Charlie and Margaret were married for 74 years.

Margaret was involved in the Ewing Lake Community. Her life was devoted to God and her family.

Margaret is survived by her loving daughter Linda and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by son Cameron in 2007, husband Charlie in 2017 and all of her siblings and parents.

A private graveside service was held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 with Reverend Ross Helgeton officiating. A time of sharing memories with family and friends with a luncheon followed at the Evangelical Free Church, Erskine, AB.
