It is with sadness the family of Lorraine Alice Johns announces her passing on Dec. 16, 2018 at the age of 97.
Lorraine was born on August 12, 1921 in Radville, SK to Edward and Irene Howden. She married Lyal Johns in 1946. Lorraine and Lyal welcomed Sharon and Kim into their family in 1950 and 1957 respectively. The family followed Lyal's employment throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta, eventually settling in Stettler, AB where Lorraine resided at Paragon Place until her passing.
Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband Lyal on Sept. 8, 1991 as well as her son Kim on Nov. 16, 2018. She will be remembered by her daughter Sharon Kuhl (Jim), Grandchildren: Michael (Tracy), Shaun and Kristin, Great-Grandchildren: Sarah, Josiah and Samuel, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
At the request of Lorraine there will be no memorial service. If desired, the family suggests memorials in her honor to a charity of the donor's choice. Lorraine will be laid to rest next to Lyal in Weyburn, SK.
