LILLIAN "DOROTHY" WIEBKING

September 6, 1928 to August 1, 2011

Lived and loved for 82 years

It is with great peace and true hope that we announce that on Monday, August 1, 2011, Dorothy Wiebking left her home at Pine Ridge in Stettler and went home to Heaven at the age of 82 years. She's there because she chose the gift that was bought by her Savior's own life - "For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him." John 3:16, 17.

She is cherished, remembered so fondly and missed by her only son, Dale Cysouw and his wife, Cheryl, by her two grandsons - Brady and his wife Alison and Lee and his wife Lisa - and by her great grandson, Isaac Lee, who she got to meet and hold for the first and last time here on earth at the beginning of July. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ike, in 1978 and her second husband, Walter, in 1995.

Dorothy treasured her family and friends and would have loved to sit and have a coffee with you. I'm sure she'll have the pot on in Heaven should you choose that path. A funeral service was held Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Erskine Evangelical Free Church. Memorial donations may be made to Gospel for Asia - a fund for widows and orphans.
